Job openings
We hire for depth in a single discipline, not breadth across four. Every engagement runs with a pod of three experienced practitioners, so there is no bench to hide on and nobody learning on a client's clock.
The four disciplines you could be hired into
These are genuinely different jobs with different vocabulary and different ways of failing. You are hired into one of them. Read the page for the one you would join, not the homepage.
- 01Data engineering
Contracts between producers and consumers, lineage that survives an audit, backfills that do not corrupt history.
- 02Analytics and BI
Metric definitions, decision support, and the discipline of cutting surfaces nobody opens.
- 03AI evaluation
Evaluation, thresholds, and how you stop an agent that is confidently wrong.
- 04Applications and automation
The workflow a person is actually stuck in, and the three systems it has to touch.
How the hiring runs
- One
You write to us
The form below. One discipline, one thing you shipped, one thing that broke. The CV is read second.
- Two
A conversation, not a quiz
About work you have actually done: what it was meant to change, and the part that went wrong.
- Three
You meet the pod
The people you would sit next to, not a panel you will never see again.
- Four
A decision, either way
We intend to reply to everyone who writes something specific. That is an intention, not a service level.
Who should not apply
Saying this costs a few applications and saves both of us a wasted month.
- If you want to do all four disciplines. You will be asked to be the best person in the room at one thing, repeatedly, in front of clients paying for exactly that.
- If you have never carried something after go-live. The people who scope are the people who build and the people who operate. Nobody passes a mess to an ops team here.
- If not being able to show your work would grate. Work sits under an NDA and a fixed scope. A good deal of what you will be proudest of, you cannot put in a portfolio.
One discipline, one thing you shipped, one thing that broke.
If one of the 3 roles above fits, apply on the role itself rather than here. That application is the one that gets tracked against the posting. This form is for everyone else.
Name the discipline. Say what you built, what it changed, and the part that went wrong on the way. That last one is the most useful sentence in any application we read. The CV is read second.
It goes to the people you would be working with, not to a screening tool.
