About the role
We are looking for Backend Software Engineers to build, scale, and maintain reliable backend systems and services for production applications.
The role involves working with backend technologies, microservices, databases, messaging systems, and scalable application architectures. Candidates will work closely with engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Requirements
1–7 years of professional software engineering experience
Strong experience with Node.js or Golang
Experience building backend services and APIs
Experience with microservices architecture
Experience with Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming technologies
Experience with Redis
Strong experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
Experience working on production-grade applications
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Experience with cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies is preferred
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
Build and maintain microservices for production applications.
Develop reliable backend solutions using Node.js or Golang.
Work with databases and optimize queries and data access.
Implement caching and performance improvements using Redis or similar technologies.
Build and maintain event-driven systems using Kafka or similar messaging technologies.
Troubleshoot application and production issues.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Collaborate with frontend engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders.
Follow engineering best practices including Git, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
Contribute to improving application scalability, reliability, and performance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional experience in software engineering or backend development.
Strong programming experience in Node.js or Golang.
Strong understanding of backend development and REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with microservices.
Experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies.
Experience with Redis.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Experience working on production applications.
Familiarity with Git and software development best practices.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with both Node.js and Golang.
Experience with distributed systems.
Experience with system design and scalable architectures.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
Experience with high-volume or high-traffic applications.
Experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting.
Experience owning production services or technical initiatives.
